fast比较级是faster。fast可以用作形容词、动词、副词、名词，作形容词时表示“快速的，迅速的；紧的，稳固的”，作动词时表示“禁食，斋戒”，作副词时表示“紧紧地；迅速地；彻底地”，作名词时表示“斋戒；绝食；人名”。fast还可以表示钟表时间的快，不过要放在时间名词之后，不能按照汉语的表达习惯放在前面。
